You have specific rights and responsibilities as a patient in the hospital. These are posted in various locations in our hospital. If you would like a printout of the Patient Rights and Responsibilities, please ask a member of your treatment team.

Protecting your privacy

Your medical information is strictly confidential. It will only be shared with your physicians and the team involved in your care. We will not release your information to anyone else, unless you give us specific permission. If you want us to share information with certain friends or family members, we will give you a secret access code number to share with those individuals. We will ask them for the access code, and check the chart for a signed release of information before sharing your information. You can change your mind at any time regarding the sharing of your information.
